I even self harmed and my school had to call home and I had to lie to my parents. It is what it is I guess😢

My eldest adult son is suffering with very low mood or some sort of depression, and I’m doing everything that would be expected of me, apart from forcing him to take some action as I can’t do that obviously! I’m at a loss tbh, as I love my son deeply, and I’m very worried. I suffer from severe GAD and health anxiety and it’s off the scale atm, but I’m staying strong for my son(s). I’m sure I know the triggers, and that it’s hopefully not a chemical imbalance, but he needs to open up so we can start taking steps for him to get back to himself. The more he stays in his room, the more overwhelmed he will get and the rut will be harder to come out of 😢
